The family and friends of the deceased is grieving the tragic and incomprehensible loss of the beloved Maleko Remlinger. He is the youngest of 6 brothers and sisters, Mr. Jamie Remlinger of MA, Ms. Janelle Remlinger of MA, Mr. Jesse Coulstring of HI, Mrs. Jocelyn Farrar of FL and Mr. Ricky Coulstring of HI. His adoring parents Mark Remlinger and Wendy Coulstring who cherished every moment with Maleko is in disbelief and experiencing unimaginable grief and loss. Maleko was gunned down in Beautiful Waikiki, Hawaii after getting off work at the Yard House. He seemingly stoped by a common Pau Hana spot to visit with friends when he was brutally gunned down in an act of community violence in a crowd of 20 and more individuals. The family is thankful for the rapid response of the Honolulu Police Department, detectives, and the first responders and all those that took an active role in this unexplainable random act of community violence.

Maleko Remlinger (22) was welcomed into this world by his proud parents and loving siblings on June 3, 1995 at Kapiolani Medical Center in Honolulu, and was a proud graduate from Kea'au High School in the Big Island and an avid baseball player and proud pitcher for the Kea'au Cougars! Maleko loved baseball and always wanted to be like his Uncle Mike who is retired as a pitcher from Major League Baseball. Maleko later wanted to enjoy making dreams reality working alongside his father Mark Remlinger building beautiful homes all throughout Hawaii. When he was not working he was a fish! He loved the water! He would often be seen early mornings, and late nights rushing the majestic waves throughout the island. He than joined the great crew at Yard House Grill not far from the traffic unexplained and senseless murder. He loved working at the Yard House.

Maleko was really a highlight among his friends and peers. He was such an honorable, kind, and compassionate young man. He is survived by his loving family and friends. He will be missed for eternity.
