Zoo Sponsorship Opportunities

Background

Through the request for Honolulu Zoo Sponsorship opportunities, the City and County of Honolulu will create and enhance relationships with the private sector, including individuals, corporations, and other organizations. It will also create alternate revenue streams that will assist in the Honolulu Zoo’s continuation of animal welfare, maintenance of its facilities and enhancement of its visitor experience.

In appreciation of such support, the Honolulu Zoo will provide suitable acknowledgment to the sponsors for their contribution. However, such recognition should adhere to the aesthetic values and purposes of the Zoo’s assets. In addition, such recognition should not detract from the public’s experience or expectation, nor should it impair the visual qualities of the Zoo’s asset or be perceived as creating a proprietary interest. Sponsorship recognition must conform to all applicable laws and rules.
